Tanzanian Hand Woven Cotton Grid Table Cloths (various colours)
Tanzanian Hand Woven Cotton Grid Table Cloths (various colours)
100% Tanzanian cotton, spun & dyed by hand on a traditional wooden loom.
They can be machine washed on your coolest cycle (30 degrees and below). The cotton will become softer with every wash. Due to the nature of the weave you'll need to be careful when machine washing them. Always place them inside a delicates bag or pillowcase to avoid any snagging. Always wash with similar colours & iron on a medium heat. Not suitable for tumble drying or dry cleaning, leave your textiles to dry naturally. Avoid placing in direct sunlight as it may cause the dye to fade slightly.
How it’s made
How it’s made
All ceramics are handmade in our pottery studio in Berkshire, UK. The pottery is made in small batches of around 30 pieces and is carefully formed over a two day period. After the pieces have dried for a week, they are then fired to 1000 degrees Celsius in our kiln. We then mix the glazes from powders before dipping and pouring the ceramics to create beautiful glaze patterns. The ceramics is then fired again to 1260 degrees Celsius.
ing traditional craftsmanship with a modern aesthetic, we bring an art form that’s centuries-old into the present day.
At Charlotte Manser Ceramics, we take pride in using renewable materials and practices to minimize our impact on the environment. By choosing to invest in our products, customers not only acquire one-of-a-kind pieces of pottery, but also support a small business with a mission to create a more ethical future.
