What an absolute genius of a place this is. I have been coming here for a few months now and it's been an amazing experience. The studio members are friendly and helpful. Charlotte and her staff are so helpful and encouraging. There are always courses to help improve your skills or learn something new. I feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful space! Can't recommend it enough.

Absolutely fantastic. My Fiancé and I had never done pottery before and had a fantastic time! We made 3 items each which we have left to dry, be painted and ready to collect in around a months time. Or £5 postage if you live further afield.

Charlotte was really friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome! I will be looking to go again in the near future! The 2 hours did fly by, but was plenty of time to really get into the whole experience.

It gives me the ability to use a space when I have time, it works well as I can work on the weekend. Lovely space, great tools and glazes and wonderful people. What else could I want, it is a special place, thank you.

Really enjoyed the throwing experience. Charlotte explained and demonstrated how to throw, and let us get on with things! That said, Charlotte was available if we had questions, got stuck, needed help etc..Rather annoyingly my husband did better than me…. I need to come back and do some more throwing!!

This was my second workshop and I was every bit as hooked as the first time. Charlotte’s guidance strikes exactly the right balance: enough to point you in the right direction but not enough to overwhelm. The session is gloriously hands-on. You spend your time doing, not watching, and you get as many attempts as you like before choosing three pieces to be fired and glazed. Picking them up a few weeks later feels like a little gift to your future self.
But here’s what I didn’t expect: the therapy. The moment your hands hit the clay, your brain has no choice but to focus on only this. Every worry, every distraction, every bit of noise the world throws at you, just gone. In a time when finding mental peace feels harder than ever, two hours at the wheel is genuinely restorative.
Charlotte is warm, friendly and wonderfully relaxed. Exactly the kind of teacher who makes you feel capable even when the clay has other ideas.
