Our Baby Imprint Kits contain instructions and 2 x play-dough slabs in a tin in which you can create your first imprint. This will then need to be posted back to us and we will recreate these into ceramics and return your pieces in 3 weeks time. This process allows any parents to create their baby imprint in the time that suits them and we will do the rest!
There are 3 options for our kits:
mini kit: a hand hanging imprint and a foot hanging imprint: £40
Parents kit: a hand hanging imprint and a foot hanging imprint, a hand and foot combination tile : £65
Family kit: a hand hanging imprint, a foot hanging imprint, a hand tile, a foot tile, and a hand and foot combination tile: £90
How it’s made
How it’s made
All ceramics are handmade in our pottery studio in Berkshire, UK. The pottery is made in small batches of around 30 pieces and is carefully formed over a two day period. After the pieces have dried for a week, they are then fired to 1000 degrees Celsius in our kiln. We then mix the glazes from powders before dipping and pouring the ceramics to create beautiful glaze patterns. The ceramics is then fired again to 1260 degrees Celsius.
