Elegantly hand carved, Kenyan wild olive wood salad servers.
Sustainably sourced and crafted, these utensils can be split up and used around the kitchen for cooking or kept as a pair for impressing dinner guests alongside our ceramics.
These contemporary hand carved utensils are crafted in Nairobi by Zephania and his small team. He uses wild olive wood that is sustainably sourced from his plantation in Kenya. The utensils are conditioned using vegetable oil and are not suitable to be washed in a dishwasher.

How it’s made
How it’s made
All ceramics are handmade in our pottery studio in Berkshire, UK. The pottery is made in small batches of around 30 pieces and is carefully formed over a two day period. After the pieces have dried for a week, they are then fired to 1000 degrees Celsius in our kiln. We then mix the glazes from powders before dipping and pouring the ceramics to create beautiful glaze patterns. The ceramics is then fired again to 1260 degrees Celsius.
