Wheel Throwing workshop

Want to have a go working with clay? Come join us at the Charlotte Manser Ceramics Studio for a 2 hour workshop where you can learn the basics of working on the potters wheel. The workshop will involve demonstrations from Charlotte before students will work in pairs on a potters wheel, taking it in turns to make their own creations. Charlotte will then fire your 2 favourite pieces, clear glaze and fire again. Your pieces will then be available for collection from south fawley, uffington, Swindon or posted to you (UK address): approximately 2 weeks later.

You are coming to a working pottery studio, please note, it may be cold in the winter or hot in the summer! All wheels require you to sit on a standard chair with your legs out in front. If you expect this to be challenging, please let me know and we can come up with another way of working. Sadly (not too often) sometimes breakages do occur but we will do all we can to try and fix this.
